Gastroenterology Consultants

The Endoscopy Center at Gateway, located next door to Gastroenterology Consultants, is an out-patient surgical center specifically designed to provide endoscopic procedures in a comfortable and professional environment. The Endoscopy Center at Gateway provides our patients expanded services and convenient scheduling. We believe in providing the highest standard of medical and surgical care, along with compassion and understanding. The staff at The Endoscopy Center at Gateway, with over 50 years of combined gastroenterology experience, is committed to your good health.

All procedures will be fully explained to you and your questions answered. We will review the pre-and post-procedural steps and spend time with you to assure you have all the information you need. The practice of gastroenterology requires mutual understanding, respect and confidence and our goal is to provide that with personal patient care.

If you have an insurance plan that requires a referral in order to have a procedure, it is your responsibility to obtain your referral from your primary physician prior to your procedure. Patients having procedures will receive separate invoices for anesthesia and pathology since independent providers provide these services.

The Center is owned by Covenant Surgical Partners and Dr. Thomas Castellano, Dr. Martin Fried and Dr. Charles Scrobola. It is fully licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and accredited by The Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care. Anesthesia is provided by licensed credentialed anesthetists.
